Gymnázium Jána Hollého is a secondary grammar school located in Trnava, one of the oldest and most important cultural and educational centres in Slovakia. Our school provides general academic education and prepares students for further study at universities in Slovakia and abroad.

We educate students of different age groups in four-year, five-year (bilingual) and eight-year study programmes. The school places strong emphasis on foreign languages, natural sciences, mathematics, information technology, social sciences, culture and sport. Our students regularly participate in academic competitions, international projects, excursions, volunteering activities and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

We aim to create a friendly, open and supportive learning environment that encourages responsibility, independence, teamwork and critical thinking. International cooperation is an important opportunity for our students to improve their language skills, experience another culture and develop new friendships.

We would be very happy to establish a long-term partnership with a Swiss school and to create meaningful activities for students and teachers from both countries.
