Content:

On a day trip to Fribourg, pupils get to know the city and use their French skills by interacting with the locals.

Prior to the school trip, the school trip is prepared during a lesson in the classroom. The students are divided into groups (3 to 5 students). Then they receive the worksheet and mark the places on the map that they will go to (explained on the worksheet) and read through the sheet. They translate words or sentences they do not understand into German. They also prepare the question they will ask some people in Fribourg.

In Fribourg, they use the map prepared in class to find their way around and look for information by exploring the city.
